Darwin Sailing Club

Until the early 1960’s sailing on Darwin Harbour was almost non-existent with many believing it was too dangerous due to the tides. The Darwin Sailing Club was formed in March 1963 with the aim "to promote and encourage the building, sailing and racing of all types of sailing craft in Darwin and surrounding waters."

Fannie Bay Race Course

The Race course is located at the suburb of Fannie Bay approximately 10 minutes from the Darwin Airport and approximately 7 minutes from the Darwin CBD.


The Fannie Bay Race Course is operated by The Darwin Turf Club and was formed with a fanfare of trumpets in May 1955.

Silks Club

Silks is Darwin’s newest and largest licensed club featuring restaurants, a gaming lounge, an outdoor deck, and a sports bar. It's also home to the Territory’s premier rooftop bar.

TIO Stadium

TIO Stadium, formerly Marrara Stadium, is the premier outdoor stadium in the Northern Territory and was built in 1991, primarily to cater for Australian Football.TIO Stadium has a unique Territory feel with open air viewing and traditional football sights from the grassy mounds. You are able to watch AFL games in the comfort of an air-conditioned corporate box, the Kantilla’s members' bar or from the premium viewing alfresco wings.

Darwin Museum and Art Gallery

The Museum and Art Gallery of the Northern Territory (MAGNT) is the Northern Territory’s premier cultural organisation.


Our principal facility since 1981 is on Larrakia Land at Bullocky Point in Darwin, home to internationally renowned cultural and scientific collections and research and exhibition programs.
